Ice Registration Online 2008-09 Now Available
Glen
Rock Hockey is currently registering players for the Fall/Winter 2008/2009
season. Please go to the link below to register once you have the new USA
hockey membership number. The system is an enhanced one this year, and once you
register, you will have a user ID and password.

The deadline for registration
is September 8th, but we ask that you register immediately,
especially if you need a jersey and socks. The process on the online form is
very easy and self-explanatory, but if you have problems or questions, please
email Sandra Jorgensen at
ds.jorgy@verizon.net.
ATOMS
registration will be until October 1st because of the November clinic
start date.
USA
Hockey requires a valid USA Hockey registration in order to play, and 2007-2008
memberships will expire on August 31, 2008. You will first need your number in
order to register on line, and the cost is $30.00 and member benefits are listed
on the USA Hockey website. Go to
www.usahockeyregistration.com please note that 2002 birth years and later
(ATOMS) do not need to register.
The Ice
House requires that all players submit two 2 x 2 photos of the players' faces,
and a copy of their birth certificate. This is for Mites through High School. If
you are new to the program, your team manager or coach will collect these on the
1st day of practice, so don't forget to get this done.
The Glen
Rock Panthers ice hockey teams will be playing in the Fall Ice House Greater
Bergen County Ice Hockey League. We hope to see everyone back this year for
another great season, and welcome out of town players on a space basis.
In
Spring, our Squirt and Pee Wee teams were the Ice House league champions. Thanks
to all of our wonderful coaches and volunteers for making this program so
successful. If you have a question about the level your child should be playing,
please email Sandy Jorgensen, and the appropriate coach will be contacted for
his input.

Full Ice
with an Ice House professional and our Glen Rock coaches
The
start-up program for boys and girls ages 8 and under, and a continuation of our
Winter 2008 program. The clinic will be full ice to introduce hockey to
beginners, and no score or standings will be kept. Only Glen Rock players will
be on the ice. The emphasis is on skill development and fun, and there will be
14 clinics with a start date of the beginning of November and a beginning time
slot of about 3 or 4 pm on Sundays. We also offer some fun events like a
tournament for the older skaters and an exhibition at a Glen Rock high school
game.
Mites - 2000

Jerseys for Atoms through Pee Wee are $47.00, and all socks are
$10.00.

for FULL TIME goalies only.

Schedules will be on the Glen Rock Hockey website and the Ice House website on
or before September 21, 2008.
We would
also like to plan an Ice and Roller Hockey equipment swap, so please email Sandy
Jorgensen if you have any used equipment in good condition that you would like
to donate. Volunteers for team managers, photo parents, and help with the end of
the year hockey banquet would be appreciated.
