Register now for the 2008-2009 Glen Rock Men’s Roller Hockey League

Registration Fee is $150.00 (Goalies $25.00)

Starting this year, games will be played on Thursday Nights at 8:00 & 9:30

Make-Up games will be held on Sundays

Games are expected to begin the end of September

Registration will be open for 4 weeks only

The four teams will be organized like last year

Players are rated by skill level and picked out of a hat by the four captains

Preference will be given to players 30 and over from Glen Rock, with players 18 and older

Checks must be received before first game in order to play

As with any sport, each player understands injuries can and do occur

Helmets, gloves, shin guards, elbow pads and other equipment is required as is Health Insurance

This is a NON-CHECKING league

We will play approximately 15-20 regular season games with best of three playoffs and championship

Playoffs will begin in March

Games are refereed by an official from the North Jersey Roller Hockey Association

Each player will receive one Jersey Teams are free to supply their own Jerseys

RELEASE:

It is understood by the releaser that upon signing this document, the releaser recognizes that Roller Hockey has inherent risks and dangers that are known or obvious, and incidentally arise out of participation in contact sports. It is further understood that the Releaser expressly consents on Releaser’s own behalf, releases the GRHA, its Sponsors, Administrators, Officers, Agents, Representatives, Coaches and Referees from any and all claims for personal injuries which result from these known risks and dangers, regardless of whether said claim arises during a game, practice or any other GRHA event. It is further agreed that the Player will abide by any and all rules of the GRHA, its coaches and league. The player must exhibit good sportsmanship while participating in GRHA activities. Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disciplinary action including suspension from GRHA activities.
